CS1 Semester Review Objectives: 
Session 1  Essential Computer Concepts (ECC), Terms, and Acronyms.
                - Study/Review ECC, Terms, and Acronyms located at CS1 website under PC Concepts.
                - Complete worksheet given in class (25 pts) related to ECC.
                - Complete worksheet given in class (25 pts) related to Terms and Acronyms.
                - Homework: Study/review using  worksheets and CS1 website - PC Concepts.
Session 2 MS Word
                - Study MS Word Features located at CS1 website under MS Word
                - Complete worksheet given in class (25 pts) related to MS Word features..
                - Study/Review MS Toolbars
                - Complete interactive worksheet online related to MS Toolbars (25 pts).
                -  Review MS Word -Visually.
                 - Homework: Study/review using worksheets and MS Word located at CS1 website.
Session 3 MS Excel
                - Study/Review  Review MS Excel  located at CS1 website. 
                - Comprehend the Excel Window Elements, toolbars, Excel formulas and types of charts.
                - Complete worksheet given in class (25 pts) related to MS Excel.
                - Homework: study/review using worksheets and MS Excel located at CS1 website.
Session 4  HTML 
                - Students review HTML Commands and design concepts presented in HTML Review
                - Complete worksheet given in class (25 pts) related to HTML
                - Homework: study using the review and other sources (as needed) found in HTML Review

Required Materials:  
                - Computer workstations
                - Computer Desktop Encyclopedia
                - CS1 Website:  http://rmacsgs02 and/or http://hectorsalas.com

Time:  Four class sessions, beginning December. 

Procedure:
See objectives above.  Complete worksheets, ensure its correct. When you finish, show it to me for credit.  Then I'll let you keep it for studying, part of your homework. 

Evaluation:
Show completed worksheets for credit. 

What's Next?:  Final Exam - See date posted on whiteboard.

Attendance: All students are expected to attend all computer class sessions each week.

Mark Your Agenda Daily:  See white board for Test/Quiz/Exam/Homework Times and dates. 

Class assignments: If you finish earlier, I expect for you to be practicing what you learned. Do not ask for Internet. 

Following directions: Demerits may be issued with or without notice to you for  Failure to follow directions given in class.

Complete class work: Demerits may be issued with or without notice to you for Failure to complete class work by the due date given to you. 

Makeup:  Any makeup assignment due to excused or unexcused absent may result in a lower letter grade. 

Homework: Most weeks you will be given a specific CS11 Reading Assignment. Your homework is to READ for learning and complete the short assignment for grading. Winners are readers!
