IT Workers Needed
As you may have heard, there's a need for IT
professionals in the United States. According to the Occupational
Outlook Handbook, "Employment of computing
professionals is expected to increase much faster than
average as technology becomes more sophisticated and
organizations continue to adopt and integrate these
technologies, making for plentiful job openings."
Executives,
trained in other disciplines, are filling some of the
many openings in the IT field. They are attracted by
greater advancement opportunities, higher salaries,
and many job openings. Many employers do not require a
computer science degree. They are willing to train
those with little or no experience. Certification,
though, can get you a higher salary.
