Welcome
to the world of programming. Do you have experience programming
for the internet, that is, creating web pages using HTML source
code, and perhaps embedding JavaScript into your web page? If
you do then you have what it takes to get started with
programming.
Objective:
Know the basic commands to create a simple program. Understand
what the basic commands do and how they accomplish their
function. Demonstrate mastery of basic programming by creating
your very own program that will help others either work smarter, figure
out a problem, or play a game.
Semester 1:

Evaluation: For End of 1st Semester
Final Exam Review, study the review questions given at
the end of each lesson covered in class. At the minimum, you
have completed lesson 1-8. The reviews are located at the
end of each lesson/assignment handout given on
class.
Semester 2:
Basic Programming In Visual

Evaluation: For End of 2nd Semester
Final Exam Review, study the summary and review questions
at the end of each lesson covered in class. At the minimum,
you should complete Unit 1 Review & Unit 2 Review
to prepare for the final exam. The reviews are located in the
book titled: Microsoft Visual Basic Basics by Knowlton &
Collings.
