I am also known as an career and technical educator, consulting on issues related to integrating technology, and most of all as a creator of solutions, with over 17 awards for various contributions to organizations with world-wide impact, such as the U.S. Air Force, Church of God, the Global Federation of Martial Arts, and within the educational communities striving to help students obtain academic success.

The Neo Box - How It All Started!

Back in 1990's when my group of karate students, about 60-100 kids and adults, were giving demonstrations for show and to raise health and safety awareness in the community, breaking of wood was popular. But at the end I had a lot of scrap wood to pickup!!! The thought occur to me -  to not waste it and instead ...the idea of creating pencil boxes was born! 

I would take the two halves of the broken wood and make pencil boxes out of them. Then I gave them away for Christmas, on birthdays, and nice red ones for valentines!! 

I had so much fun improving the quality and the care of making these hand crafted boxes that I started to see so many more uses for them. And the most unique usually thing about it all, is that you would have a hard time finding good hardwood all-purposes box like these anywhere.
