Have you ever just wanted to have fun on your PC and not be sweating
another heavyweight round battling those scary spy wares, viruses, trojans
that could steal your information and slow down your PC? How about
those annoying advertising pop ups that wouldn't stop popping, and
those browser hackers that just makes you want to scream every time
they change your settings?
Hi, I'm Hector, the PC Doctor and I'm back! Today
I'm going to share with you my PC First Aid list of some of the best
companies and individuals who truly provide free products to help us
have a better PC experience.

New!
Micosoft Malware Removal Tool ~ XP users Try this
first! Everyone I have told to use this tool first, before any of the
others, has experienced getting their computer system back.
The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool checks computers
running Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server
2003 for infections by specific, prevalent malicious
software—including Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom—and helps remove any
infection found.
SpyBot - Spy Ware
Search and Destroy. Download it for free, install and run it
twice! Always check for new updates before running it to get the
latest spyware detection files. I have downloaded new detection files
nearly 99% of the time that I have launched SpyBot (and that's every
new day that I use my PC). Spybot is simple to use and, if you want a
tutorial, they have one at their website.
AVG - Anti Virus by
Grisoft. AVG provides comprehensive antivirus protection for
personal computers. The unique combination of detection methods
(heuristic analysis, generic detection, scanning and integrity
checking) ensures that your computer receives the maximum protection
possible on multiple levels (Resident Shield, Email Scanner plugins,
Personal Email Scanner, On-Demand and other tests, etc.).
BitDefender
Antivirus 2009 free version is a powerful antivirus
tool with features that may best meet your security needs. Ease of use and
automatic updates make BitDefender Client Standard an 'install and
forget' antivirus product. Download the evaluation copy and try it
out. What AVG doesn't get BitDefender will!
Windows Latest Security
updates. Check weekly but whatever you do don't schedule this
process to kick-in automatic. Remove it from the scheduler. Check
weekly, no kidding the security fixes Microsoft makes available are
free and add to your defense plan against PC attacks.
